Cavers Castle
What an amazing building with such a history attached! I really can't recommend enough going out and doing some research about this place yourself - I don't know where to start!
The simple version is that it was supposedly built around 800 years ago. It had some renovations and bits added during the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th centuries. Then, around 1953 it was abandoned after the owners could not find a buyer and the army were given permission to blow it up!
What remains is still such a great building, despite being a roofless ruin with vegetation taking over the inside, this place is a must see!
